CathyAs a Smith researcher, I have found it is sometimes better to be a
little lucky than t o be good at researching. I am not related to the
William Smith, father of Mary Florida Smith , wife of John Chappell, as
far as I know, but I do have a copy of the "Family Tree" from th e
William Smith Family Bible.I ran across it in a copy of "Mid South Bible
Records Vol. 2" D AR TENN R. 976 DAU. at the Chattanooga Hamilton County
Public Library in Chatt., TN. For som e reason I did not write down the
publish date.I Saved it because William was a contemporar y of my
ggg-grandfather, Robert Smith, b. 1765, in PA. He moved to TN, Greene
then Knox Co. A nyway, I do not think they were related, but I kept the
copy anyway.If you like, I can sca n the 4 pages and send them to you.By
the way, the owner of the John Chappell Bible is liste d as a Betty Ann
Chappell Calvery of Oklahoma City, OK. The Smith Family Bible records are
ow ned by a Maude Smith of El Reno, OK.Your fellow Researcher,Barry F.
