There are currrently 29 people in this group. 20 have done YDNA, 9 have done autosomal and there is one tree only. Quite a few are from Benjamin Smith b c 1779 NC m Celia Hall. One is Henry Clay Smith b VA m Malissa Davis. A number of people were in Clay County, Kentucky, including John Smith b 1785 m Nancy Eversole, Jabel Smith b 1805 Kentucky m Rhoda Swafford. John Smith may have been from Ashe County, NC. Others are from John Smith b VA d 1787 NC m Elizabeth Hawkins; John W Smith b 1811 GA m Frances Ashmore; Rhesa Smith bv 1821 Mississippi m Naoma Lawrence; William McVey Smith b 1880 Kentucky m Amelia Grambrell, and several different surnames that match Smith including Greenhill, Pruitt, several unknowns and one adopted.
