Thank you for the welcome.  I am trying to piece together my Smith line.  It took a wierd turn with my 5th Great Grandfather Randolph and I am trying to find out if the parents that I have listed are indeed his parents and if not then where does my line go.  Our family records from what my Uncle told me were burned up in a fire many years ago and I am really curious on where I come from
