to consider doing a YDNA test. The Smith DNA Project has a number of members, two of whom have done YDNA testing for Nimrod's son Sherrod/Sherwood Smith, would like to compare the YDNA through son John. These Smiths were in Greene County, Mississipi, Hancock County, Mississippi and Harrison County, Mississippi. If you are a male Smith who has a strong line of descent to Nimrod through John, please consider a YDNA test and joining the Smith DNA Project.
