Sorting out 3 Rockingham Co VA Smiths

All of whom I think we can solve with some additional DNA testers, particularly male Smith YDNA testers.
Farmily # 1. Lorenzo Frederick Schmidt/Smith who is in the 1810 and 1820 Rockingham Co VA census with wife Christine Sunifrank/Sonifrank
Family # 2 Samuel Smith b 1814 Rawley Springs Rockingham d 1886 at Rockingham Co VA married to Sarah Cooper. Member has him as son of Lorenzo, but according to another source, Samuel is not one of Lorenzo's chidlren
Familiy #3 William Barnum Smith b 1793 Lincoln Co Ky m Christina Sites in 1812 at Rockingham Co VA. We have several autosomal testers but need YDNA Smith DNA tests and do want to compare.

As a side note, there is a Mary Smith not too far from Samuel Smith in the 1840 census. I do not know if this is the mother but do notice there is a Wiliam Smith who married a Mary Deeson in 1807 att Rockingham Co VA

Id you have proof sources for any of these, please weigh in and also come join if you done DNA or are considering a YdNA test.
