Autosomal tester
Breaking this down. Robert Smith, who married Polly Freeman, is most likely the son of Rev War ancestor William Smith b 1755 NC who died in 1845 Stanly Co NC. The Smith DNA Project does not have a YDNA Smith tester nor any any other autosomal testers for this line and we invite you, if you have a strong line to William or Robert, to come join the Smith DNA Project on FTDNA. Littleton Smith b 1798 SC d 1879 Lauderdale Co AL married 1st Unknown. He looks like he is the son of Benjamin Smith d 1844 Lauderdale Co AL who mentions son Littleton Smith in his will.
