Note that when you sent a line for entry on smithsworldwide.org, your login will allow you to edit or add information to your particular branch. If you have not sent a tree line, you can still post on the forum but are not able to edit any information on people or families.

You are trying to login to Smithsworldwide, but you cannot remember your username OR you cannot remember your password. Don't forget, first, that passwords are case sensitive. When you cannot remember for sure, you can go to the login page to get the information.

On the login page you will see “Forgot your username or password?” Enter your email to have your username sent to you. If all you want is your username, then simply put in your email address and click GO. If you ALSO have forgotten your password, but you know your username, put in your email AND your username to get a temporary password. If you don’t remember your username OR your password, you’ll first need to have your username sent to you to get a new password. ALL these sends go to YOUR email.

Once you have successfully logged in, you can change your password from the temporary one given to you to a new one of your choice by going to the EDIT PROFILE option in the menu.
