Ebenezer Smith , the son of Samuel and Mary Ensign Smith, was born in 1668 in Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts.
Ebenezer married Sarah Huxley, daughter of Thomas Huxley and Sarah Spencer, in 1693 in Hadley, Hampshire, Massachusetts. Sarah was born in 1675, in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut. Sarah first married James Barlow in 1688 and had one son. James was born in 1659 and died in March 1690. Ebenezer and Sarah lived at Hadley, Massachusetts until about 1698 when they moved to Suffield, Connecticut. After Ebenezer?s death Sarah married third in 1732, Martin Kellogg, son of Lt. His name appears on Hartford's Founders Monument. Thomas married Sarah Bearing, daughter of Nathaniel Bearing, in September 1645, in Hartford, Connecticut.
