New Member- Dorcas Smith m Isaac Hollingsworth
Dorcas Smith was born in 1785 in Franklin Co GA and is most likely the daughter of Isham Smith, son of Nathan Smith. Two reasons why. First, the location. Isaac Hollingsworth and Dorcas Smith got married in 1803 in Frnaklin Co GA and thence went to Lawrence Co MS. Second, they named one of their children Isham Smith Hollingsworth. However, there is not a source document, such a a will, to prove precisely this is the case, good enough to put this member in the Nathan Smith group and if anyone can say one way or the other, chime on in.
