Tree Only but member says he's fixing to do an autosomal test. Have recommended, especially since he is a male Smith, to do a YDNA test to prove the line.
His first line appears to be from the Nicholas Smith group GRP-E-M2-3. (Wyatt Smith in Franklin Co VA, son of John Smith, son of Samuel Smtih m Grissel Coleman, son of Nicholas Smith). The second line appears to be from GRP-R-M269-1 which starts with an unknown Smith in Chatham Co NC and goes through Isam (Isham) Smith Sr and Jr who went through Tennessee to Warwick Co IN and thence to Benton Co MO.
As a side note, does anyone have the proof of who John Smith d c 1820 in Franklin Co VA's wife's name was? Was it Frances BURKS or Frances HAYNES and do you have a source for either.
