The Smith DNA Project has two members who have done YDNA and do not match each other, although apparently having the same ancestors in common. In particiular, need to look closely at the children of William Smith b 1864 TN (Jefferson, Hamblen, Grainger) as well as known chidlren of Moses Smith to compare.
IF, for example, we can find a male Smith descendant of Moses that will do YDNA for comparison, we can see if he matches either one of the two existing kits. Trying, in other words, to find a point in time to explain why the line might be broken with an NPE.
