    • William’s tombstone shows his date of birth as 1870 but he does not show up on the 1870 Union Co. KY census with his father, mother, and older sister Hattie. He is on the 1880 Spotsville KY census with his family and is 6 years old but he seemed to use the 1870 b.d. most of his life. William and Sudie purchased four lots in Baskett and owned a third of a lot with L.S. and Hope Austrew and C.K. and Etta Browder throughout the 1890’s and early 1900’s. By 1917 most of it had been sold., , , , , , , , , , , ,
