I am the great, great granddaughter of Enoch Smith.

He had many children, (8 I believe without checking). One of his sons, John married Matilda Backhouse (daughter of Colonel Abraham, son of Captain John H. Backhouse.). They had 4 children (one died young), Susannah, Cyril and Emery. My grandfather was Emery. He had 8 children and lived in Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. My father, Wray Kimble Smith, was the fith child of Emery and Leta (MIzen).

I would love to learn more about the Smith side and I'm able to share photographs of the Brooks, Smith and Backhouses if your interested.
