- Anna Helena Grundling was never married to Christian Schmidt/ Smith (1744-1800) . She was married to Johann Christoph schmidt of Prussia/ Germany a single man, never married. They was put in charge of the children's quarters by the Moravain due to one reason of them being without issue. They both died without any issue either before or after their marriage. They had no children. Christoph Schmidt died in 1799.
Anna Helena Gründling was the wife of Christoph Schmidt, and came with him to NC in 1758, one of the first party of married couples to arrive. She died in Bethabara in 1790. https://www.carolana.com/NC/Royal_Colony/nc_royal_colony_moravians.html
